The perception paradox

Imagine, you are laying in a green plush field full of dew ridden grass. With your eyes gazing the beautiful twilight. With no noise but the sound of birds chirping and the natural sound of beetles in the distance with a faint smell of fresh lilies in the air around you . Quite a sight to behold and the apt place to calm your nerves. But what if I tell you, the pale tinge of blue and purple you perceive is not what another person sees and he sees grey instead. What if the faint smell of flowing lilies smells different as they perceive it differently. How does one come to such an absurd conclusion. Well ,you'll be the judge of it in the end.

The first question is, is color the property of an object or, is it a property of your brain the perceives a specific frequency to the corresponding color. We all know that light is nothing but Electro magnetic waves, thus each object being unique has its own characteristic frequency. Now, is it because that the object itself is of that color that we perceive it in such way, or color is the way of our brain to interpret that specific frequency. In short, is color a property of the object or is it a property of our brain to perceive the light meaning that in reality the object is color less.

Now to the next main question, when you were a kid you were taught that a specific color is blue , yellow and so on. What if a color you perceive as as blue is different to another person, the color you perceive as blue is in fact yellow (in your terms) when seen trough the eyes of another person.  Is this even possible, how can you validate this, well the question can be asked the other way is well , what is the proof that this is infact wrong. We all know that we humans are built different , have our own tastes, ideas and an individual "soul", thus it is highly probable that the way we perceive things (color to be specific) is also different ,moreover, the way we perceive the world is well suited and programmed to our liking.  What happens if we perceive the world as someone else does , will we like it, is this even possible ??? These are few questions that have been haunting me for years, I've been stuck with the wild paradox of seven years now , and couldn't arrive at an explainable conclusion. The ball is in your court, it is your turn to think !!! ;) , certainly not the lasts to many firsts!!!
